do the windy thing!

as most of you know, i am a homestuck, and i've decided to cosplay as god tier john egbert for halloween and maybe for some cons (since people say i look just like john at my school).

SO. all of today i went shopping at target and wal-mart getting my supplies. i had already ordered a regular blue hoodie on amazon on thursday and it just came today. i invited my friend over to help me with the cosplay. she painted the symbol for me on the hoodie...

the hoodie cost about thirty bucks and i already had all the paint i needed(my camera kind of killed the colors so it's not really that color).

and then when i went shopping i got the glasses and fabrics...

the glasses cost about five bucks at wal-mart, and were just some nerd glasses i found and i punched the lenses out of them ( and wow my piano is really dirty).

i also bought some fabric glue since i don't have a sewing machine so i could work on the hoodie.

here's part of the hood, already cut up into the shape needed. the fabric cost about three dollars a yard.

gluing the hood! the fabric glue cost about five dollars. i have yet to glue the hood to the hoodie, right now it's drying for twenty-four hours.

here's the hair. this was the most expensive part of the project. the wig itself was one hundred dollars at a beauty mart. i also had to get a stand and bald cap for it so that was an extra ten bucks.

i will update with the process of the hood soon. i'll be working more on it tomorrow.
