Posted by the same guy, Mr. XY, who was responsible for the rumors a few days ago. Since rumors can't be posted in the forum, I thought I'd break it down here.
Screecap of the thread within the spoiler tag:
First off, the rumor is set-up a lot like Melkor's authentic leak from pre-BW, which was probably on purpose, bar the fact that the person doesn't know all the Pokemon, and some of them he's only heard of from second hand sources. That's probably the strangest part besides the mass amount of info he possesses in the first place.
In the last thread, he claimed there were 99 New Pokemon, with a focus on new type combinations and less "orthodox" archetypes, like early rodent/bug/bird, as they'd be filled by Old Pokemon. 99 Pokemon is one less than Johto, but he also claimed, since there was no "Z" Legendary, and seemingly no Event Pokemon, that DLC could potentially be a possibility. I think DLC Event Legendaries is actually something I could see them doing, and I expect Gen VI to be like II and IV, small with lots of old Pokemon getting new evolutions, so no problem there. GameFreak abandoning tried and true archetypes is a bit odd, but, well, we have seen an early rodent from a previous Gen, Patrat, in the trailers.
Well, he posted the Starters in his other Thread. Some people have noted an attack Chespin uses in the trailer appears to be Aerial Ace, and, well, there's a lot of types I could see Chespin becoming. Fennekin becoming Fire/Psychic is a common theory, although I don't quite get the "lotus flower" motif and how it relates to foxes. And Froakie, well, being pure-Water is disappointing, but the only Gen where we've got all dual-types was Gen IV.
He posted the Legendaries last time around. A quartet instead of a trio is interesting, and the card/animal motif is cool sounding, although kind of a weird combination. Psychic/Rock and Ghost/Flying for Xerneas and Yveltal is...well, it's a cool little juxtaposition in terms of type match-up, and, well, I gave up guessing Legendary types since Gen IV. Ghost/Flying for Yveltal seems more logical than Psychic/Rock for Xerneas, imo.
Now into New Pokemon...well, you can read them for yourself. Nothing stands out as too weird. Some people bring up having a Water/Ghost Jellyfish as weird after Jellicient, but then again Gen II and Gen III gave us both Water/Ground axolotl/salamander Pokemon, and we got multiple fire primates in Gen IV and V.
Baby Pokemon...he claims Baby Pinsir and Heracross will be revealed in mid-March as "proof", so look towards that. All the Pokemon are currently 2 EV Pokemon, so there's no weird Roselia-retcon (where they changed its EV in Gen IV) going on.
Evolutions. Pinsir gets both a Baby and Evolution, but Heracross doesn't. Kind of odd, but not unheard of. Pinsir's the only one to get both, which is odd as he's not that popular...or is he? Some Evolutions make sense...like Torkoal, Audino, and Qwilfish, but then we get weird ones, like Hariyama, Starmie, and Claydol. Well, then again I don't think Magmar and Electabuzz were Pokemon we thought would get Gen IV evolutions...but, there they were.
Gym Leaders. Bug/Normal/Dark/Rock/Psychic/Steel/Ghost/Fighting. Interesting line-up, with our first Dark-type Gym Leader. Snyder and Felicity sound like the Gyms we saw in the trailer. Badges and Towns are posted too, which is stuff you usually see in the instruction booklet (?). "Tyrforge" sounds nordic, but I can't figure out the other names at all. All the names, though, are within the character limits for characters/badges/towns I believe, so at least the leaker did some research.
Elite Four. Well, Ignatius seems like it's that fiery church in the trailer obviously. The "four elemental" types being the Elite Four is kind of cliché, but something you'd think GameFreak would have done. Champion being the father makes sense, as in the other thread he stated a main plot point was travelling thirty-years into the past and meeting the father on his journey.
Well...what do you guys think? I think a lot of the ideas are rather neat, but the mass amount of info dumped sets off my "FAKE" alarms.
