I absolutely despise this design. It's completely ridiculous. To me, it looks like Nintendo saw a picture of Steve Spurrier, (

) made him 13, took that guy from LMFAO's hair and put it on him, and put him in the game. Also, his shorts over his pants. I hate that, too. It wasn't as bad with Emerald because the shorts and pants were the same color, but on this guy, they're different, AND the pants are skinny jeans/wetsuit pants. This design is a royal failure.

In conclusion: They f*cked up this time.

Since you mentioned that he's wearing skinny jeans/wetsuit pants, I'm guessing the protagonist are wearing beach-themed clothes.

I love his design apart from the trousers. I have no idea why they think shorts over trousers (that look really tight might I add) look good, but I hope they learn that it isn't xD
I do love the hair though, but only because it reminds me of another character who I adore.

The hair is my least favorite part. They finally decide the show the protagonist's hair, and they make it look like that. I would've made those short pants. Khakis are find with me.
