At the time this is posted depending on where you are may be having a moment of silence for those who died and for those who are still with us.
Veterans Day here in the US, Armistice Day or Remembrance Day for others. A holiday in which we give thanks to all that serve the nation in it's defense. To me at least, not just US service men and woman but those of every nation. The last US Veteran of WW1 was Frank Buckles who lived to be110 years and 26 days old died February 27, 2011.
Sadly "The War to End All Wars" did not. With millions of soldiers worldwide, sometimes all they would like to hear "Thank you". As someone who is posting this from South Korea, mostly not by choice, it can really make someones day. Me on the other hand still feel wierd hearing it but will always say it to a Veteran when I get a chance.
Thank you for your time and have a safe Veterans Day.
