I have a German midterm tomorrow, and I have gotten very little studying done. (Sometimes I take too much for granted that this class is pass-fail.) Does anyone have any tips for studying for foreign language exams? I'm normally good at this - I was great at French in high school - but this class has moved at breakneck pace (because we're focusing almost entirely on grammar, not much on vocab) and sometimes I'm really sure where to begin. Bonus points if you're a German speaker too!

    I'm sure this won't help now, but I played Pokemon Emerald in French before my French finals. Forced myself to translate everything. You can try something like this German.

    @Jolene; I like reading the French section of my instruction manual for New Super Mario Bros. Wii and flipping back to the English page. I haven't studied up on French in a long time, my learning it has been kinda stop-and-start, on-and-off over the past three years or so, but I do things of that fashion when I do feel like stretching my French muscles.

    I have tried that LOTS of times with the Japanese anime. I can't go past the basics, however...
