The Seven Deadly Sins of Graduate School

This was inspired by both watching lots of Fullmetal Alchemist, and by actual conversations I've had with my colleagues in the graduate student office.
I think that graduate school makes you kind of an expert in all seven of the deadly sins.
Envy: Of people my same age who have real careers, or who are fellow students and are getting published more often than I am.
Greed: Help me I'm poor!
Sloth: When I don't get reading done, or in general, using school as a way to delay getting a real job.
Gluttony: Pigging out every time we have a department event and there's lots of delicious finger food and wine, or somebody brings in free donuts to the student office, because, again, I'M POOR.
Pride: Showing off all the fancy, meaningless academic jargon I learn to feel smart in front of non-students.
Wrath: At myself every time I don't get stuff done that I need to get done. At public transportation when it makes me late for class.
Lust: Okay, maybe this is just me.
