I got a 1550 (540 reading / 510 math / 500 writing) Not bad, I guess. I didn't even review for it.
What's the maximum score you can get?

Yay! Seems like you did pretty good. :) *is happy for you*
Your score on the Reading Section is slightly above the national (U.S.) average for SAT takers this year. The Math and Writing scores are just around average. Is this your first time taking the exam, or have you taken it numerous times before? I suggest studying again and taking the SAT examinations again to get a higher score. If you want to go to a top-ranking university, better scores may increase your chance in getting in those universities. If you want to attend a community or junior college for the first two years, whatever score you get on the SAT really does not matter. CollegeBoard allows you to send your highest ranking scores in all three sections of any SAT exam you have taken to colleges.

IIRC I got a 1430 when it was out of 1600. And I didn't have to take the inane writing section. #winning
