My birthday.

It didn't start off so bad.
Unlike last year, I was happy for most of the day (instead of feeling depressed).

I was in the house alone for a long time, but it wasn't so bad. My parents came back with food from Olive Garden. I couldn't go to the restaurant, because my dad was still working.

Everything was good except for one thing, but I knew not to get my hopes up.
I got $50 again... just like last year. I was expecting a small increase, at least, but I got the same amount. Why am I so disappointed? I'm disappointed because my parents mentioned paying back the money they promised me years ago (about $300).

They also owe me $33, because I had to pay for some school supplies myself.

$50... I don't even know what I can do with that. I need a new computer, and I don't have a job.

Anyway, I'd like to say thanks (again) to everyone who wished me a happy birthday.

I'm still sorry to hear this. :(
Hopefully they pay you back eventually and you finally get that computer soon. (it's taking too long)

    And, you're welcome. :)

That sucks. :/ Still, something is better than nothing.

Why did they owe you $300?

It had something to with school a really long time ago. They said they would give me $300 for doing so well, and I didn't get a cent.

Least you have more of a shot of seeing that money than I do of seeing the $50 my dad promised me for eating some shrimp many odd years ago.

Why would they give you $300 for doing well in school? That's sounds even odder.

Not so odd, but they technically don't owe you the money. They didn't borrow it from you, they don't have to give you anything. If you're so mad about it why not take your grades hostage [/sarcasm]
