I was running through my basement today and we have those crappy flooring things..like wallpaper for the ground and I guess it was recently cleaned or it had accumulated some dust patches. anyway, I slipped and fell on my ass and also slammed my left heel onto the ground.
Currently sitting on a cold pack.
Again, second installment. More for my personal amusement of trying to figure out which song is particularly catchy/meaningful that week or period of time.
Best band ever coming up: Modest Mouse. Education by Modest Mouse
Not much to say, the song can be interpreted in any number of ways, but it's the bass and accordion that drag me into this one. Oh yea, not to mention Isaac Brock's voice.
Just a silly thing I've decided to do - post a particular song each week (well maybe I'll forget or somethin' so that's tenuous...) and just describe my reaction/interpretation of the song. Not sure anyone cares, but hey, I'll do this anyway. The Grey Estates by Wolf Parade.
Wolf Parade is a pretty interesting band. They sound a lot like The Arcade Fire for those who are familiar.
Anyways, this particular song does a good job of describing the desire
1. Feraligatr (Nile)
2. Primeape (probably Crazy Gnome)
3. Electrode(Racecar Grin)
4. Nidoking (History)
5. Houndoom (Blood Dust)
6. Xatu (Cowboy Dan)
1. Modest Mouse
3. Wolf Parade
4. Built to Spill
5. Man Man
7. Pearl Jam
9. Franz Ferdinand
10. Elliot Smith
In no particular order, except #1.
