OM NOM NOM ALL THOSE TASTY SOULS >:B

For the past 2 months or so I have been sad and angsty in general. Happy-go-lucky and chipper, but for the past two months there were some things that were really shaking me up.

BUT NOW I'M HAPPY AS A THING THAT IS THE PURE EMBODIMENT OF JOY.

I am moving out of home in a very short time, and to say the least I've been terrified.

I didn't have a licence, my university application was on shaky ground, and I was generally in a horrible, scared, angry, guilty mood whenever my mind wandered to it. I'd feel sick and disgusted with how lazy I thought I was being.

On Monday, I got my licence. I passed my test and I'm confident on the road.

Tonight, I got online and checked my university application, and I'm smack-dab in the middle of my best-case scenario and I am OVER the moon!

The university is helping me find a place to live, I'm enrolling tomorrow, and things are looking up, up, UP!

I am so happy right now I cannot describe it. People use the phrase "Like a weight's been lifted off my shoulders", but right now, it feels like a huge iron ball has disappeared from the pit of my stomach.

Sorry for the annoyingly chipper blog post, but I got in this mood 2 hours ago and I haven't stopped smiling since.
