Swapping into another series swing again *shrugs*

Well, it happened again. Another series swing has taken over my attention.
In case you are wondering what a "series swing" is, it means that I've shifted gears into a different series. This happens every couple of months, and it can be at random. Probably because I'm so deeply fascinated in the somewhat narrow topics and themes I like, I tend to shift from one to the other depending on my mood. For example, for the past two or so months, I've been on a real Pokemon kick, which is why my activity on the forums and whatnot has increased lately. However, the past week I've suddenly shifted my interests into MegaMan. Doesn't mean I'm "done" with Pokemon, it just means MegaMan is my primary focus right now, though I still tap into other subjects from time to time. It's a funny quirk I have and I can never really explain why it happens. It just sorta... happens. Again, it can be completely at random, and the subject of choice is also a bit at random, but that just seems to be how I work.
In any case, due to my sudden MegaMan interest, I've also tapped back into the retro gamer side of me. Battle Network is my favorite MegaMan series, though Starforce is a close second. Since all the Battle Network games, aside from BN5's DS remake, are all on the GBA (and in Network Transmission's case, GameCube), it's caused me to shift back into retro gamer mode. Times like this I love my DS Lite. So my focus has moved off of Pokemon for a bit. Doesn't mean I won't still participate like in the JFF Battles group, it just means most of my leisure time will be on MegaMan for a while.
Again, this happen ever couple of months, depending on mood, so I can never really tell what my next swing will be, or when. It'll just happen when it does. Strange, right?
In any case, current MegaMan focus is Battle Network 2 (the most unusual one of the series, thanks to the surprisingly high number of curses that slipped past the rating system). Not my favorite of the games (BN6 Gregar is my favorite, though BN5 Colonel is second place, reasons being: ElecMan and Princess Pride being allies, respectively, my two top favorite BN characters), but I'm currently trying to score an S-rank on every Navi so I can FINALLY see Hub Style. Easier said than done. I've done about half of them or so, but MagnetMan is proving to be a real pain, while I still haven't found ShadowMan's data on the net yet, so that's still up in the air. Why does almost every Navi past QuickMan have to have HP higher than 1000 baffles me, especially when Mega can't go higher than 1000 in that game. Seems a bit unfair. The final boss I can understand, but most enemy Navi's? MagnetMan in particular, since when you first fight him, he's already got 1000 HP. Plus the whole lingering in the back annoys me to no end. Ah, well, whatever. Later all.
