I feel useless

But no, I'm not suicidal or anything don't worry. :P

It's just that I'm friends with so many people who are talented in stuff like music, sports, drawing, writing, leadership, etc. And then there's me. I feel like i don't have any special talents like that. I've always wanted to get into music, but I don't take any lessons or any instruments. There's also writing, but that takes up a lot of effort for me. Sure, people call me smart, but that's it. I feel like I've been wasting my life on the internet and games, but yet, I don't want to let it go.

I dunno. Just something that I've been deep in thought for a little while.

    Might I suggest going to see if your school has a FIRST robotics team? If you're smart, you could contribute to that and do something you might feel is worthwhile.

    Sometimes I worry about this, that I'm not the best at any one thing. Sure there are plenty of things I'm better than the average person at, but there are people who are just as good as me at that and something I'm bad at.

    My solution is to find something constructive that you enjoy doing. If you feel like you are doing something constructive, it doesn't matter if you're the best, as long as the task is being done. For me, this is wiki editing. Other people do things like volunteer work or programming in order to do this. But the most important thing is that you enjoy it, or you'll feel forced to do something you don't like because otherwise you are worthless. However, my recommendation is join a school club; once you start assisting in the running of the club, you really feel like you have a purpose.
