I saw five teenagers say rude things about an elderly woman on a metro bus today, so after they got off I did what any heroic person would do and told the bus driver what I had heard. I just hope I did the right thing.
What did they say? Did they threaten to harm her in any way?
I don't understand what you expected the driver to do with the information. If anything, you should have informed him about the teenagers before they got off, but if the situation got resolved by itself then nothing is wrong.
Yeah, I am not sure exactly what you were hoping to gain there? Yes, if they were rude then you should inform the bus driver or someone, but if they, including the older woman got off the bus, what is he supposed to do? He's not a cop so he can't track them down, and unless they were violating the law in harassment, threatening or anything like that, then there's not much he can do? It's a nice thing to do, but probably would be better before they got off.
I think that was a good thing to do. Jerks.
I'm glad you did that.
Kids these days are very obnoxious. I know because I go to school with a lot of them. They don't respect anyone who's older than them. Woe to me when I am one of the few kids not interrupting a class by fooling around.
