This time... I had a dream... A different dream than the one before... It wasn't a nightmare...
It was clear. The air, so clear and so clean. The grass, underneath my feet, was so green, lushious, and soft. The flowers were scarce, but beautifully blooming in the distance. To the northeast was a big lake, with clean, blue water that looked good enough to drink. In front of the lake was a giant tree that cast a giant shadow below, where big bushes grew in the formation of what looked like a natural cradle. And the sky was so deep, dark, yet radiating with sunshine past the clouds in view.
In my arms, I held the one girl that I'm in love with. She was unconscious and very close to me. So I decided to walk towards the lake to place her in the cradle under the shadows. But with every step I took, familiar pain seemed to increase by miles.
It was over what seemed to be an hour that it took for me to get there. The pain was too intense for me to keep going. As I loomed over the the perfect spot, I try to move my legs, but I hear cracking, stattering, and I feel the pain grow like it's never grown before. My right leg broke...
I fell on my side and onto the cradle, but the grass was so soft and comfortable. My love was still unconscious and with me, and I still had my arms wrapped around her through the pain.
And we stayed there. I pulled her in closer to me so she could sleep comfortably up against my own body. My head on top of hers and her head snug on the front of my chest. My arms wrapped around her small body. The grass makes a pillow for us. As I cry tears from the pain, all I could do was thank myself for finally reaching her, and I pass out... and I wake up.
Even with how much it hurt... it was still the best dream I've ever had.
