I don't know very much about things in the medical field.....or basically, cancer but... my mother just told me that she has about 15-20 tumors within her....d-does that mean she may have a certain type of cancer?
Not always. A lot of the time, they can be Benign(non-cancerous), but I do understand that a tumor is scary. I'm sure she'll be okay.
Tumors are a general class of cells that are abnormal that may or may not be malignant. (In fact, most moles are considered to be benign tumors.) Cancer has a specific definition, and are malignant by nature. That isn't to say that tumors are a walk in the park, and some may require treatment. I wish the best for your mother, and hope that everything goes well. :)
Only further tests can tell. I wish you the best, and good luck in the near future. Stay strong.
Thing is, my mother's health hasn't been...very well, I guess. She dislocated her shoulder, and recieved many other bruises, in a fight, she's had tons of surgery in her stomach, she's had a miscarriage....the list goes on. Will that affect (effect?) her in any way?
Yeah, tumors can be non-cancerous, so I hope that's the case here. Whatever the case may be I wish you and your mother the best.

Maybe, maybe not. As Missingno said, only further tests can tell. A doctor is in the best position to answer this question, as he'll have the knowledge and tests necessary to make a good determination. Stay strong, and if you ever need someone to talk to, we're here for you. :)
