I wasn't bored this time; I was procrastinating. You see, I have an exam in a few days, and what better way can a 19-year-old boy prepare for that than by procrastinating?

I just discovered this song, and I loved it, and I was so excited because I wanted to like Najwa Karam's songs for a long time, because her vocal abilities are amazing, but I only loved a handful of her songs before this one. Now I can add it to songs of her's that I like.

I think Najwa wrote the song. The lyrics has a number of characters in it, and 'Love' in most cases refers to a person, and not an emotion. The proper translation would have been 'Lover', but this song has hints of wedding music in it, so I doubt that was what the lyrics meant.

God in the song is also referred to as 'The Creator', and not 'God', but the song sounds awkward as it is, so I opted for the simpler of the two. During the conversation between the Moon and Najwa, Najwa is referred to as 'Nayalo', which is a pet name for 'Najwa'. There are plenty of other notes I want to bring up, but I don't think they matter, as they are all more linguistic hardships when it comes to translating a song from Arabic to English by an unprofessional.
