Not Buying It

I saw the trailer for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity a couple of days ago. I was going to give the series one last chance, but it really doesn't seem good; maybe I'll buy it when the price drops.

In other news, I also considered buying Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, because the series always interested me, but again, seems my interest in it had been lost. Might buy it on release day, or wait for the price to drop.

Well, this blog doesn't have enough negativity in it, so I should probably add more. Shiny Venipede is still not showing up!

I never buy Pokemon spinoffs, for they are not the real Pokemon. Trust me, not buying PMD won't hurt you either.

As for the Shiny Venipede, how are you exactly farming it? Masuda method, I suppose?

They're not main series games, but they are recognised by Gamefreak, otherwise, they wouldn't exist. And yes, I am using the Masuda Method.

Yet, is it that easy to get alter-cartridge copies of any Pokemon you want to shine-breed?

It's not that hard to get Shiny Pokémon, especially with Masuda Method and the Shiny Charm; it just requires patience.

Why not get the demo and check it out? You'll even be able to pick up were the demo stops on the real game. :D Totally unrelated, but this is what I hope they do with X/Y.

Didn't mean that, but anyway, we are off-topic already.
Back to black, how can you put a demo into you actual game?

The PMD3 demo is available on 3DS eShop to try for free. If you buy the actual game, you will be able to transfer saves over.

They are Pokemon games. Just because they aren't in the main series doesn't change that. A lot of the spin-off games are pretty fun in my opinion.

As others have said, you can download the demo for the game for free to see if you'd actually like it. I tried it and I thought it was fun. I probably won't buy the game for awhile, but that's mostly for financial reasons at the moment. I might later on this month or next month if I save up a bit, but I'll most likely get it before X/Y come out at least.

@BlueWartortle ; I'm not sure. I'm not a game designer. *shrug* They did though. As long as you have the demo, you'll be able to transfer any of the progress you made on that to the actual game.

Anyway, I never use demos, so not that I care...
