I need to give this a title

Emulator vs NDS

Reasons to buy a DS:
-Its a gaming console.
-Its legal.
-Gives you the actual thrill of gaming(or so I think).
-No virus threats on your comp.
-C'mon, let Nintendo have its share of profits!
-Gettin' 2 emulated DSs to work simultaneously means working at 30% speed(for trades)
-You get to play that in class!(suggested by DarkMaster)
-Thats all imo.

Reasons not to buy a DS(or emulate it):
-Its FREE!
-Ya don't need to look around for the best deals(happens with some).
-You have control over game speed.
-Its disapproved.

Moral of the story:

Go buy one!

Yes, an actual DS beats all. But that doesn't mean you can't get the games for free. Yes, thanks to the awesomeness that are flashcarts, you can get any game for free and play it on your DS!

Jeah, I think this one's teetering on the edge...

Still, my brother's girlfriend owns her games legally, and still uses a flashcart because then she can fit all games on one cartridge. The main problem with handhelds in my opinion is having to lug around all those cartridges.

Only reason I hate Emulators is because they crash often and you can't trade/battle on WiFi...other than that Emulators>DS

How about, let's combine both positive sides and buy a r4ds, or dstt or whatever for your real ds. problem solved (also, most people disaprove of talking about emulators here).

Errr, what? It's the opposite here, at least.

That said, I have used an emulator, but those are all permanently deleted, and I don't plan on using anyone anymore (maybe because I have a DS now...)

1. R4 doesn't give you control over game speed
2. I prefer Acekard, its firmware is more frequently updated. AKAIO, that is.
