My patience is being torn to shreds at the moment...

... by the Internet provider.
For about a week, my Internet has come and gone without warning, even though there's no problem with the router (I checked to be sure), so the error must be somewhere between it and my Internet provider. After I contacted them a week ago about it, the provider decided to send a technician today to find out what was the problem and I was to wait for him at home (it could be a wire or something in the house, they need to check everything) and he would arrive between 1 P.M. and 5 P.M. I had to leave a meeting early with my fellow students (project work) in order to be home on time.
And did the technician appear? No.
Did he contact me? Nope...
Still problems with the Internet? You bet.
So I left a meeting about a project that needs to be finished in a week, just to wait in vain?! Terrific...
And this isn't the first time I've had problems with the Internet with the very same provider. I'm really considering switching Internet provider because this can't go on forever. I need the Internet to be fully functional primarily so I can work with computer programming.
One last thing: Can any of you show me a picture or something that can cheer me up? I really need to be cheered up.
