I happened to look in Polygon and stumbled upon an article that revealed that someone, who previously also remade the logos of the US hockey teams last year, have remade the NBA teams' logos with Pokémon.
What can I say? They look pretty damn awesome.

The only reason I discovered this was because Youtube suggested it (for once it's doing its job).
Anyway, they have made many more weapons, including Cloud's Buster Sword, the Keyblade, Sephiroth's Masamune and so on. You should go and take a look at the other videos as well.

Nintendo have sent mails to everyone who did that, giving out download codes for Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for the 3DS, originally released for Gameboy Color. What's more, it's currently not available outside of this promotion, so grab this chance, folks.
I doubt I'm the only one who has been forced to undergo the "how-to-catch-a-Pokémon-tutorial" at the start of each game, despite having defeated multiple villainous teams on multiple occasions, saving the world from drought or drowning, preventing a madman from destroying the universe, catching powerful Pokémon and so on.
