3D Dot Game Heroes and Drawing in GIMP

So I spend about an hour and a half making a character when it dawns on me that, surprise surprise, the big arrow on the floor indicates forward direction, and all my poses are facing left.

Should I restart my design or just edit a template dude?



Also, after drawing my Totally Useless Bellsprout fairly well in ten minutes I decided to work on my Rather Helpful Murkrow. Did this in about an hour.
Any criticisms you folx can suggest to make it better?

    It's good but it's neck and legs look a bit too long IMO.

    Can anyone recommend a class?
    I went with Hero but do the other two have any functionality/kool features?
