It's 90 degress outside. It's October -going on November- and it's like freaking summer. Oh well, I wore shorts today. And! I think I had the hardest time backing out of the parking space at school today. I just had to park beside a huge truck that blocked my view. I waited quite a while to "think" it was safe to pull out. Luckily, I didn't get hit and die.
She did. It happened at ~1:00. :'( I thought she was getting better. I guess she wasn't. It's gonna be different around here from now on :(
RIP Grandma. We love you.
He never responded to my email. Now... I know that I'm probably not the only person who emails the White House, but you'd think that they would at least respond via an automated emailing system. I guess I'll never get the interview with the president in time. Luckily, I also have the choice of interviewing a doctor. So while at Duke University Hospital, I noticed that there are a lot of doctors there. I got my interview! The guy I interviewed was a really nice Pulmonary Fellow. His name was Wael.
I carved a pumpkin tonight. It was a hard decision on what to carve on it. The pumpkin started off as a normal, round(ish), orange pumpkin.
Then it went to this:
That didn't work out. So, it went to this:
Then I got scared and stabbed it into the following final product:
The fair was fun. I finally got my ribbon fries and deep fried Snickers I have been craving for months. Chris Tomlin also sounded good.
But, it's kinda hard to enjoy the fair if right before you get there, you're told that your grandma has about two weeks to live.
I hope that number changes. Maybe it'll change to years, but that's me looking on the bright side.
