I have heard, but not listened to a lot of about this series before it aired. Hell, I thought it did air due to many, many fan arts on Deviantart. And when it aired, of course internet exploded. Now you see Legend of Korra avatars and threads in every forums and generally everywhere in Internet.
With this much praise and attention, I wasn't expecting much from this series. I majorly thought it would be only pretty good and fans are giving hyping this up much more than it deserves,
My God was this a massive pile of dissapointment.
First initial set-up was very well done. Trip's increased creepiness towards Alder is very nice as it finally gives him some plot and BW some continuity. Dawn's interactions with Burgundy was nice and her reaction towards Georgia was decent.
The battle between Caitlin and Cynthia was surprisingly well done. I really loved their entrances, and how they both have roses, Caitlin appearing inside a (GIANT MECHANICAL) purple
With all this discussion about a Dragon-type prodigy who has much stronger Pokémon than her age, experience or training would allow her to solely to showcase her as a legitimate threat especially against other people(and her idol) and to make a main characters who she faces off against's progress seem more important than it is in an artificial way and who writers seem to be having difficulties about how she should interact with other characters that is in a series that desperately tries to regain
