Yesterday at about 8:00 PM, The Pacaya Volcano erupted. This sent huge ashes up in the air and raining. Raining volcanic sand. It was 4W350M3. In the morning, it looked like my neighborhood was a beach. All over the city people were working to clean up the sand. Nobody could drive during the "rainfall", because the wipers would ruin the windshield and it was at night. I even have a photo of my balcony:

And school was obviously canceled. I even found some more info on it.

Ash Ketchum apparently took his visit to Guatemala too seriously.

Do you live near the volcano? (I mean really close since my family in Guatemala didn't get ash where they live iirc D:)

It struck all the city, as said in the news and Wikipedia. Where do your family members live (not address, but like Escuintla, Peten, etc.)?

Jutiapa, which is so far from the departments you said ^^;.

Ahhh. The volcano isn't near that area.

Yeah, it's more centered near the old Guatemala City, iirc?
