I made such a good decission earlier. I chose to watch this movie. I can't do it justice in description, but the acting, plot, aural and visual aspects were so perfect. The characters felt so real and the darker issues touched upon were so powerful and relate-able. I can't believe this film is so over-looked. So powerful and moving.

I don't know whether it was more appealing on a personal or a communal level, but yeah it really impacted me particularly. So many things that were elaborated on were exactly how I've felt before and such a perfect depiction.

I'm not sure if everyone would like this movie, but it's not what you'd expect from it. I'd still really recommend anyone who hasn't seen it to see it. So worthwhile.

Have you ever read the book?

For my entire English class last Semester, after reading the book, we felt that the movie was a letdown, since it left out so many key parts, or parts that made the book pretty awesome. Of course, it has to be cut down since it's a movie, but they could've squeezed some more scenes in there. We also thought Charlie seemed a bit too mature-looking for the role, but everything else was dandy.

@Milkapoke ; No, but I've heard about it. I'll have to go check it out now though. Charlie really changed from mature to young teen throughout so it's hard to tell his age from the movie alone.
