That sucks. I did that once, but without the hospital part. It was extremely painful.

Not everybody ends up in the hospital, but everyone who drinks has had a night like this. Some of us are (un)lucky enough to avoid the hospital but spend six hours hurling instead.

And yelling "IS THAT THE BEST YOU GOT, GOD?" at the top of your lungs with your ex girlfriend right next to you and a party of people on the other side of the door. Good times.

This is why I rarely drink alcohol and I've seen this happen to other people before. I hope you're feeling better Synthesis :) I have nocturnal epilepsy so even though I've never been drunk before I have felt symptoms of being drunk and having hangovers such as feeling very dizzy and having headaches when waking up after a really bad seizure in the night.

I'm glad you're okay, that's terrifying. I'm sure your friends are just glad you're fine, as well. And I don't mean to sound like your parent, but be careful please. xD

This was the final straw and I'm not going to drink spirits again.

Well it doesn't literally happen to everyone but a lot of my friends have gotten themselves in to these kind of situations. I did myself. I was at a New Years party and drank so much Pernod that I passed out when I got home. I didn't go to the hospital but It was scary.

Glad you're feeling better. Don't sweat it, at least now you know your limits.

I can't say I've had it as bad as even some of the commenters here. I will say that I was at one party where I made numerous bad decisions (and by bad decisions I mean shots).
