Steven was the target apparently, and now the people I met up with at Hanada will take me to the Java Region. Yay! :3
The first town in this region is called Yogyakarta. (That's fun to say. xD) Here... I am given the Silph Scope for use at the Hanada Cave. (If any of you don't know, this is the Cerulean Cave, famous for being home to Mewtwo in the original games. In Touhoumon however, it's home to Layla, one of the dolls used by Phoebe.)
But wait, there's more!


A man in Yogyakarta tells me that this region is connected by 7 gems. The Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, Topaz, and Amethys. When they are collected "the hidden door will be opened". Meaning? It's best that we keep our eyes open for them.

North of Yogyakarta is the North Plain. Here, an old man apparently from Shion (Lavender) Town gives me the Boneka Flute. This can be used to wake up sleeping Boneka that are blocking my passage. Otherwise, I can't get anywhere from there. .___. Doing some surfing back at Yogyakarta however, I find a girl named Tenshi. Claiming to be one of the AOI Elite SP Trainers, she is clearly in possession of one of the Gems. Time for a battle!

Holy shit. o-o I think it probably goes without saying. I should probably take this waterway further downstream and hope I find some trainers more on my level. xD

Down the waterway is the Southern Way, and... I don't get very far without being challenged by a trainer. I'm genuinely nervous now. D8 "ALL HAIL VANTAT!!" Fighting him yields similar results.
Ow. So.. this means training is necessary if I want to play here. ._.;
