Time to dig up an ancient fossil. What could it be? A tooth? A skull? Nope, it happens to be this blog, for a rather trivial entry. Even by my standards

So I've been thinking. I've been short on games to play lately, and need ideas on what to play next. I've been incredibly bored recently, and I don't see Summer Break alleviating my problems, with its lack of anything to do. I figure this community could help. Any suggestions are welcome, but I do have some... restrictions on what I'll consider. (I'm human. I don't like everything in the game industry, or don't have access to everything.)

- I cannot play PS3, XBox (360 as well), PSP, Cellphone, or Wii-U games. Why? I don't own the consoles quite simply. s:
- Not a fan of gory games. There are some exceptions to this rule. Basically, as long as the game isn't STEEPED in gore and killing, I'll consider it.
- Not too fond of explicit games.
- War games aren't my style either. Not counting Star Wars Battlefront perhaps...
- Pricey or hard-to-find games are best avoided too.

Hm. I think that's enough. I'm looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say!

What about Plants vs. Zombies? IIRC, it's not that expensive, and it has a PC version that I think is downloadable. Plus it's very mild despite being a zombie game.

    Minecraft?

Skyrim for the PC does have blood, but it isn't too gory. And there's a civil war questline, but you can ignore it.

Sorry, I think I had to clarify that line a bit. .///.; Fixed it. Hope it makes things easier.

Time Hollow for the DS. It is quite simply one of the best and most underappreciated games of '09, in my opinion. I highly recommend it :)

Well we have multiple options here, I've already named off a few (and I know you're not exactly itching to get back into Yugioh). I guess what can be suggested is a few downloadable games. I've suggested some time ago that you could give Sanae Challenge a shot, though it may be amusing for a short period of time meaning I guess that's not what you're looking for. Hm... Perhaps try Etrian Odyssey? You've known me to be a huge fan of this series, so I can easily recommend it to you if you find a Dungeon Crawler RPG game interesting. I'd also say try going back to older games, maybe find something in the N64, SNES or PSX area (that you might be able to find... Is Code Veronica available? Klona?)

These are things that just come off the top of my head at this moment, if anything else comes along, I'll suggest it to you when the time comes.
