Wow, that's really terrible. I feel badly for all of them. But this is why you don't do things like that. I understand they were young but you don't just sit on a railing on a second story, that's dangerous. But then that's how I was brought up. People always gave me a hard time because I was so 'grown up', but then they'd get hurt and they're like, "We should've listened to you". But this isn't about me. I just hope that everyone will be okay, death is never an easy thing to accept. I can't imagine how the kid that actually pushed him must feel now.

It's a terrible situation, and being there to comfort him is one of the best things you can do. And be sure his other friends aren't giving a hard time for anything, he doesn't need drama right now.

That's...

Ghastly and visceral, but the cruel and base nature of life, rather than the workplace or anything worldly. I wish all those folk and all their relatives the best. Death is abrupt like that... I hope with my whole heart that you don't bear a glance to something like that firsthand, anytime soon. It's certainly scary, perturbing, unsettling, and imposing. None of you deserve a hard time. Not to say I'm someone to speak for it as I've never seen someone die, but... yeah. :C

Wow... just... wow... I don't know what I would have been like if I had seen that. I've actually been through five different deaths in my lifetime, so I understand full well how your friend is feeling. One of them was a friend way back in second grade -- he and his father had gotten run off a bridge into the Colorado River right before our grade entered fifth grade.

The others were a little later (and much more recent in my life). Though, there's a girl that I had become super close friends with in grade six. So much so, that we pretty much called each other sisters. About two weeks before Halloween last year, she had gotten into a horrible car accident on the way home and passed away the next day due to severe internal damage.

Two other friends that were also my boyfriend's had also gotten into a car accident about four months after that around my birthday (you can imagine how horrible I felt that period). They were all admitted into the hospital, though, much like my close friend, weren't so fortunate.

The last one... is a highly touchy one for me, seeing as he was my boyfriend and I tried so hard to help him through his Osteosarcoma. We had a lot of things planned out for when we get into college and were even talking about getting a place of our own during that time. I was (and still am at times), a horrible wreck about the whole ordeal when I had heard that he had passed away in the hospital due to the Osteosarcoma spreading to making him paralyzed from the neck down.

... I send your friend my sincerest sympathies that this has happened... and I truly hope that they look up in due time.

Dude that fucking sucks. Children shouldn't be allowed to die.

I hope that everyone will be alright.
