Site updates and news from Bulbagarden staff
We're pleased to announce a new staff project--the Bulbagarden Outreach Project. This isn't specifically driven by Overgrow II or any other event, but we feel it's an extremely important aspect of the community that we've been neglecting. We want Bulbagarden to be a safe place for people to talk in a civil manner about issues that affect their lives.
Part of that involves everyone being good to one another. But another aspect involves showing leadership on our part in making Bulbagarden
A cross-post from the Announcements forum:
We've had an issue with Teams in social groups. We've mentioned this rule before, but I wanted to codify it:
"Teams" which involve membership, leadership, and attacking/battling/conflicting with other groups or individuals on these or other forums are not permitted. Any teams which are operating in social groups have 72 hours (until 12:01 Monday morning EDT, 5:01am Monday GMT) to disband and close the social group. Teams

If people are even occasionally bumping up against this limit, drop me or one of the other admins a line and we'll look into revising the criteria. For now, we feel that the 32k limit allows people to say pretty much anything they need in a blog comfortably.
Keep on bloggin'!
Thanks for bearing with us through the downtime. Load is still higher than we'd like but hopefully everyone's able to use the forums at a reasonable rate.

We're working with our server providers and technical staff to put solutions together that are better than shutting off the forums at peak hours. We'll keep you posted as soon as we know anything. In the meantime, thanks for
As you may have seen elsewhere, we've decided to change the way the Development Forum works. So if you have an idea, now it goes here instead of the old Suggestions Box. The perks of this are numerous: it's more structured, which allows ideas to be better examined. It also allows users to see their ideas implemented in real time. And if a user has an idea that we love and is clearly their brainchild we'll make sure they have the resources to implement it on Bulbagarden.
