They're soooo easy and short. :< Why can't they have big books with big complicated words like "antidisestablishmentarianism" or "Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis".
Age 13 Not surprised...everyone thinks everyone at that age is soooo dumb.
It doesn't have to be complicated to be a good story, but I know the feeling.
Mhmm, I know. Our whole library is for Kindergarten through Highschool; of course, this means the children can get their hands on the teen books, which, I've found, is a bad idea in our library... I'm surprised by the things I've found in there 0_o... Also, my literature teacher the other day said 'I don't expect you guys to know what optimism and pessism are, so one of you get a dictionary and tell us'... ouch, I've known those since 3rd grade 0_0
