Okay, so this is just something I came across. It doesn't actually have visual guides, but it's got some good tips.
Imitation is the highest form of flattery, and if you're a fan of anime then it's only natural to want to adopt the beautiful anime style in your own drawing. If you are trying to achieve that coveted anime look, here are some things you can do to improve your drawing skills
Step 1: Learn the basic rules of how to draw anime. If you are new to anime, the first step to improve your skills is to research the basic line structure of anime characters. Pay attention to details like hair highlights and structural standards like elongated limbs and larger eyes.
Step 2: Use other anime drawings and images as a starting point. Look at Manga for inspiration. Either trace or recreate the lines of the characters to learn the basic anime style. Keep in mind that form is tantamount to shading and that anime utilizes strong lines and a more subtle color palette.
Step 3: Develop a personal style. Once you understand the basic concepts of drawing anime figures, develop some of your own. Start by creating characters in situations that will push your comfort level. This will help you to problem solve different issues with perspective and proportion and further tweak your skills.
Step 4: Practice to get better. The only real way to improve a skill is to keep at it. As your level of expertise increases, your ability to draw and conceptualize will increase by leaps and bounds, especially if you've already begun to hone your own personal style. Before you know it, you'll be drawing like the pros.
