It was a four semester scholarship. I had two semesters left. I'm choosing to not attend college this fall because soon I will be going to live with my grandmother. It won't be for a while. Even though people are calling me childish to give up a scholarship it actual feels the most adult thing I have ever done. I tell myself I can always go back to college. I was assigned kitchen helper. Yesterday was my first day of training and I already hate it. Working in the kitchen does not feel right to me. The whole training went very fast and I'm a slow learner. Today was the "audition" and tomorrow is my evaluation. Even though I worked there one day I just feel that I'm just going to get in the way and it's not going to work out well. I'm the type of person who will not perform well when I'm rushed. When I got home I could not remember anything that I learned. The manager told me right before I started working to tell him if I am not comfortable about the job that I can leave or he can put me into another position. I feel a little guilty if I quit. Seems like it was yesterday I was it was my first day of high school. I think back to all of the things that has happened this year. I started college, which I am very thankful for the scholarships because I would not been able to attend and I thought I would not get any because of my grades in high school. I got my driver's license. Everyone who got their's said it would cost 40 dollars and my family could not afford it. It came out to $6.25. My brother got married. He is visiting next week before he goes to Afghanistan. To all of the graduates this year. They say your senior year will go by fast.
