As of now, I have A's and B's and one F. Will it do anything. My GPA is still a 3.0.
yes. no college will accept you but a community college.

have fun! I really hate when people look down on community colleges.
I meant to link to the TV show.
It depends on which subject it's in. Most colleges look at GPA more than the grades themselves, but if you failed, say, Math or Science, then there might be problems. Of course, this all depends on which college you decide to try and get in to.
I failed one marking period of spanish myself and made it just fine into where I'm at now. Of course, Edo-kun does have a point though, it does matter what it was in and what the rest of your grades in that subject are as well as where you're looking at. My GPA was around a 3 as well (though I think my HS's GPA thing was screwy), so yeah, you should be good as long as you don't screw up as much. Heck, I even had some Cs mixed into mine if I recall correctly. xD
Was it overall an F or just one marking period? Because if it's just one marking period, just don't screw up again, and you'll be fine. :3
People may make you think that "oh you're screwed now", but trust me, half of the stuff they say about college is wrong too. :P It's like how in middle school they make you thing high school is SO HARD and stuff, and when you get there it's totally not. xD Well, okay, college is kinda hard, but defiantly not the way my HS teachers made it seem anyways.
Depends on the subject and the grade you have.
Though... If you don't mind me asking... Is this the same math class where your grade went from a 53 to a 58 and it went up '4' points?
Don't worry about it. The SATs / ACTs are all that really matter anyways. Since you have a 3.0, you'll be fine (I had a 3.0 in high school as well)
(and no, I'm not bitter... in fact I like it that way. a good SAT score is what got me into my college.)
