Rate this Entry
Yay more lists!!!! I'm back and I'm making lists again. Why? Because I'm in the mood to blog but I have no better ideas.

As usual whole families are grouped together unless otherwise stated and Legendary Pokemon are ineligible.

Anyway, without further ado, here goes:

Ice

Steel

Electric

So there you have it, my top five Steel, Ice and Electric type Pokemon.

Next time (whenever that may be) I'll be covering Bug, Psychic and Fighting types.

Lanturn! The headliner of the electric types.
Only if he was fast like the others, he'll be unstoppable.

Electric types aren't weak to Stealth Rocks, they resist Flying type moves and Bullet Punches and they only have one weakness. On paper, they're terrific. In practice, they're either too frail or too slow (Ampharos, Luxray) to really take advantage of their assets. Some Electric types, like Jolteon and the Legendaries, can stand out, but unfortunately most of them aren't that popular.

    Except Pikachu. I loathe Pikachu.

Curse those Water types, stealing Ice Beam...
You bet you'd be angry if all Fire types got Gigadrain and Energy Ball. Except Ice Beam is even a more important move.

It doesn't even make thematic sense, as Ice Beam doesn't really involve solidified water.

Now more seriously, nice to see you're doing more of these lists! They are pretty enjoyable to read and to think about. Steel is one of my favorite types, as honestly, ALL steel types look like complete bosses. I'll be looking forward to the Bug types!

I feel the same way about Electric types too, they are kind of... just there. Not many can stand out, which is a shame, as it feels like they should for pretty much the reasons you said.
