Grass Type Trainer

I'm back with more lists. This time, I'll give you my top ten favorite Flying type Pokemon, and my top ten favorite Poison type Pokemon.

Now, I'm not including the Bulbasaur or Budew lines in the Poison type because then it would just not be fair to all the amazing Poison Pokemon out there.

When I think of Flying types, I think of birds. Why? Because since, Tornadus (-T) aside, there aren't any pure Flying types out there, I tend to look at all the non-bird flying types as being more their primary type than Flying (Jumpluff is a Grass type, Charizard is a Fire type, etc.) I'll try to remain bird themed here, but you'll have to excuse me if I don't adhere to that rule religiously.

As usual, no Legendary Pokemon are included and whole families are grouped together unless otherwise stated. Without further adieu, let's go.

Poison

Poison types have never been that impressive to me, those that aren't part Grass anyway, but recently I've developed quite a fondness for more than a couple of them. The Poison type itself isn't that great, but it lends itself to some pretty cool and pretty useful combinations. These are my top 10 favorite Poison types.

Crobat

This is one of the few cases where I'm not including the rest of the family. Like most people that have half a brain cell, I find Zubat incredibly annoying. Golbat too, to a lesser degree. But Crobat is just so boss that it manages to overcome its pre-evolution's annoying habit of being annoying.

Flying

Again, I'll try to limit it to just bird Pokemon, but I make no promises. Flying is one of those types that I don't think much about, but when I do, I realize that I really like it. It's a very understated like for me. I don't consciously acknowledge it, but when I'm sifting through my favorite Pokemon, I'm always impressed by the amount of Flying types that are there. Here are my top 10 favorite Flying types (not including Dragonite or Salamence because, much like Bulbasaur and Budew, that just wouldn't be fair. Also, not including Crobat since it topped the Poison list.)

I dunno what it is about this Pokemon, it just has a je ne sais quoi factor that I adore. It looks awesome, it fights awesomely. It's just all around awesome. Not to mention it got me out of some tough spots in the Hoenn games. Swellow has become a staple in all my Hoenn games, actually. This thing is just that cool.
