...Nine years ago?
I was sitting in my fourth grade math class, an hour and nine years ago, approximately. My teacher was teaching long division to us as a review, being that it was still early in the year yet. Another teacher, from my grade (though I never had her), came running down the hall to us and told my teacher to turn the television on to a news channel.
Personally, I was rather young to realize what had happened, but the both of them had completely aghast looks on their faces. Of course, I knew that two planes had just flown right into two of New York City's tallest buildings, and later we heard about a plane crashing into the Pentagon. I didn't know what either of those locations were, I still knew it was bad, and a little iffy that three planes could crash into two of America's [apparently] most important buildings. Naturally, we didn't finish math class that day. I jwondered what it meant for the greater scheme of things.
Now I do.
Where were you?
