Second day playing and I got a lot done. I got lots of new items, won the bug competition, paid the down payment on my house and caught my first bug and fish :I

Ok, yeah it's not really impressive but yay anyway! Some pics I took :B

My second catch was a cool one. I donated it to the museum.

So far i've been stung by bees twice, got bitten by a mosquito and fell in a hole ;_;

I was looking at bare walls and thinking about stuff I liked to fill them with. Then it occured to me, I like Pokemon! :0

I went on eBay and looked through some posters before finding the one of my dreams. It's Kanto crazy, original cast, original Pokemon! I was very happy. It arrived and after some difficulty due to its size, I eventually managed to hang it up without it falling off the wall again. My brother keeps coming in my room and calling me a nerd and doing terrible Gary Oak impressions, but it's worth it. Now I own such a massive Pokemon poster there's no hiding the fact that i'm still into Pokemon. Since coming out of the closet, my family have been mostly accepting and supportive ^^

Another Bulbaversary Blog

Today marks four years since I signed up to be a member of Bulba. I was lurking for about a year beforehand, mostly stalking the anime section. I decided to join because I wanted to have my say in a single thread, I had no intention of becoming a regular poster. Then I guess people started to quote me, agreeing and disagreeing with my opinion and before I knew it, I was having a dabate. Shortly afterwards I began logging in everyday and posting in the anime section. I was watching a re-run of Pokemon from episode one to what was then, probably mid DP. So it was all fresh feeling and fun to talk about with others. I made some really good aquaintences and now I post all over the forum. Mostly pointless posts which the mods sometimes like to point out :b

Now to the nitty-gritty..the only thing you guys are interested in, your mentions! Posted in alphabetical order to avoid favouratism.

@Ebail; We may not talk much anymore but it goes without saying that we will always be good friends. You're such a great guy, I really hope you get the life you dream of. Maybe get that promotion? No more sitting on steel chairs waiting for snobby customers to warrant its use.

@Froakie; You're smart, a great drawer and you're east to get along with. I'm glad we became friends and talk often.

@GatoRage; I will always be greatful to you for getting me into GoT. We share similar tastes in movies and our humour is pretty similar. You make me laugh regularly and you totally deserved that mod position. So proud ;_;

@jda95: We don't really talk much cos you live in a silly timezone, but what's not to love. You're now also a WD fan which makes you extra cool. I defy anybody who doesn't love you.

@Mijzelffan; The first day after we started talking via Skype, we had a disagreement on Bulba. At that point I figured we probably wouldn't be great friends. I was wrong and since then, we bearly argue at all. We both love South Park and mafia games which you got me into. I remember the day I asked you to explain what a mafia game was over Skype. Seems like such a long time ago. With your help and my natural genius i'm now a war room regular, pretty much thanks to you. The fact that you are no longer a moderator in there is disservice. Also, you look like Bran Stark which is a plus to any GoT fan. Observe that you have the longest post since I know it means a lot to you :b

@Oswin; You're just a really lovely person. Even though we sometimes make fun of you, you always take it well and I don't think i've ever seen you in a bad mood. You're funny and caring and I'm glad we went from occassional bantering VMs to good friends.

@Paperhorse; Since becoming a regular in the war room i've made a lot of new friends. You are definitely one of them. The WD has brought quite a few of us together. You're a fun, easy to get along with person and I'm enjoying hosting with you. I Hope to host another game with you in the future.

@Synthesis; We don't speak a lot these days but I do so enjoy our VMs. I know I can always have some great bant with you. You're a really lovely guy with a great sense of humour. It's an honour to be shipped with you.

@Zeb; Frankie always spoke highly of you so I always assumed you were probably pretty cool. I wasn't surprised to find out I was right. I'm glad we now know eachother. I only wish we had became friends sooner.

I'd love to say something about all of you but I haven't got time and you guys don't have the patience. Instead, i'm gonna mass mention some other people whome I would have written a long post about had I known them a little better/or spoken to them much recently.

I made this all by myself for the enjoyment of ya'll. It's very easy. It works just like any other crossword. Read the clues and write down your answers in the corresponding boxes. The boxes highlighted in red indicate special letters which when put together in the right order will spell out the name of a Pokemon. Get all the clues right and make a note of the letters in the red boxes. When you have them all, unscramble them to find the mystery Pokemon. To take part, copy the sheet and fill the the crossword in using some kind of paint program and post it in the blog. Everyone who has a completed sheet with all correct answers plus have identified the mystery Pokemon will win a prize..a shiny new 'like'! And it will be the most deserved 'like' you've ever received ^^

So my friend has a competition coming up at her workplace. Whoever can make the best cupcakes wins a gigantic easter egg. They rate you on the way they look and the way they taste. So we found this pic on the internet. If you're not aware of the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street, it's supposed to be the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street :thumbup:

Sales People

In the past couple of years, my local town centre has become infested with all these different companies, stopping you on the way into shops and either making you listen to a sales pitch about something you don't want or asking for money for charity. I don't mind the charity guys so much, I don't like the intrusive way they sabotage passersby like a pack of hungry wolves, waiting to pounce, but then if it makes money for a good cause, so be it. It's the people who are trying to sell you stuff that annoy me. I was walking through the town today when I spotted some, I looked up and saw a poster about funeral care, and the guys were stopping some old lady. That's nice for her when she's innocently walking home quite happily, and suddenly some youth in a suit comes up to her and basically says 'so you know how you're probably gonna die soon'..Anyway, I thought, well I can walk past without getting bothered by them, because i'm pretty youthful. As I was walking past I noticed some other guys that had pitched up behind them. They were almost hiding when they jumped out at me and asked what broadband provider I had. I've wanted so much to just tell them to f**k off but my manners wont allow it. I told them I was with Be Broadband and that I was very happy with the deal I was getting. He looked at me in a kind of agressive manner and said 'i've never heard of them' almost as if I was lying. He then brushed it off and told me to come over to his little stand thing. At that point I just began walking away, in the distance I could hear him shouting me to come back. While it made me laugh slightly, I felt like my personal space had been violated. I mean, people will stand there for ages listening to these sales people because they're too politce and nice to walk away, some are even polite enough to sign up to these money grabbing schemes. I really hope that this kind of thing is banned soon.

Anyway, sorry if this has been heavy reading. To lighten the mood, here's a picture of some otters:

A Sad Day

I knew this day was coming for the last week or so. My hamster finally died today. He'd been slowly declining over the past few days and he seemed to be finding it hard. In a way i'm glad that he's finally at peace. I've buried him in the garden, which has become a pet graveyard anyway. I may get another hamster at some point, but not yet. It's too raw and I already have two dwarf hamsters to take care of. He died peacefully in his sleep at 3 years old.

I Hate You Orange!

Not the colour, the mobile service provider. I'm trying to top up my phone but it's got this stupid voice recognition service that takes all my details and it can't understand 80% of the stuff I tell it. I have a slightly geordie accent (Northeast England) but this is England! Everyone has a strong accent depending on what part you're from. The thing that it can't understand the most is when I tell it that my name is 'Hayley'. I've tried about five times and so far it's responded with Katie, Kayleigh, Lily, Tilly and even Isla O.o

The worst part is when it asks you to confirm if it's correct by saying yes or no. It usually repeats the word 'no' back to me in a mock geordie accent or on one occassion it said 'Noel, is that correct'? Yes voice recognition, my name is Noel >.>

It eventually says in so many words 'I can't understand a f**king word you're saying' and attempts to put me through to a representative (actually human) but alas, I don't have the funds to make the call because my phone has no credit. So to top up you have to actually be topped up already.

Thank you to everyone who wished my happy birthday yesterday. I had a fun day, mostly spent it with my friends. We went out for a meal and when I got home my Mum presented me with these two little boys :D

They are a pair of Chinese dwarf hamsters. The white one on the left i've named Daryl and the brown one on the right is called Jermaine. They're quite shy. Just settling in, but friendly. I brought them some banana earlier and as I was putting it in their cage, I saw my Syrian looking over waiting for his treats. I completely forgot about him :0
He's probably feeling very jealous and considering leaving home.

Other than the hamsters, I got mostly money and chocolate. I got the Sims 3 and ModNation Races for PS3. I prefer money because then I can buy what I want.

New Year Blog

I had a pretty good christmas, got some cool gifts and watched the classics xmas movies. I caught a cold on about the 23rd and it lasted for ages. I've been feeling better over the last few days but today I seem to have caught ANOTHER one. Now going outside is almost as scary as a zombie apocalypse, everyone is sick and wants to make my life a misery with their germs, the only thing I hate more than people who don't cover their mouth/nose when they sneeze of cough, is my own immune system for letting me down my whole life >:I
To say there's roughly 200+ strains of cold virus, I swear I've already caught about 500 colds. You do the math. The only thing that's cheering me up right now is the thought of my birthday that's coming up soon. My mum will go all out to impress me because she feels guilty about my 21st being such a disaster (I went to a funeral)

New years eve was boring. I couldn't be bothered to go out so I stayed at home and played guitar hero with my relatives. I hate forced fun. I don't really have any resolutions.
I wanna read more and watch some new things, 100% some PS3 games cos it's all about the stats and having better ones than your friends. Erm..2012 was OK. I don't really look at life like 'this was the year I grew in confidence' etc, I'm kinda shallow. The best thing about 2012 for me was probably watching Eurovision :b

I will make an effort to eat healthier, I seem to be developing spots and It wouldn't kill me to lose a few pounds after the Christmas binge. I was considering changing my hair colour but a friend told me 'you don't suit any other colour' which was a back-handed compliment at best.

I made some new Bulba friends in 2012 which is nice since everyone I orginally befriended back in 2009/2010 don't come here anymore. I know you're all very disappionted with the lack of a mention but i'm sick and I don't wanna leave anyone out.
