The Desk of Glitchipedia

After participating in the raging debate over the characters of Kris and Soul, I felt a need to write something about them.

Most people, when they depict Kris and Soul interacting in any way, interpret their relationship as a hostile one. Admittedly, this mentality can work quite well for comic strips (I'll admit I've laughed at a few), but when it comes to fanfiction, a somewhat deeper plot is needed.

So here's my pitch.

Kris, the video game superstar who made her debut in Pokémon Crystal Version, has no doubt she will reprise her role in HeartGold and SoulSilver. But when she meets Soul—a girl who's so down-on-her-luck that she'll die if she goes any farther down—can Kris muster the selflessness to give up her dream so that Soul can support herself?

Though it will be funny in parts, it will also be quite dark. Perhaps unrealistically so, but give me a break, I'm a dark person. Overall, it's intended to portray the relationship between Kris and Soul in a different light. One of change, sacrifice, teamwork, and friendship.

All the same, expect it to suck.
