Anyway, I'm sure today has been a great day for everyone. Lots of presents, huh? Sure I've gotten a few good ones myself. But the real presents are the friends I have, both here and elsewhere. I'd like to thank, specifically, a few folks that have made this past year great.

@Musashi; @Caitlin; @Archaic; are my bosses, and they do a hell of a good job! Archaic's done great guiding Bulba for the past 10 years, and I'm sure he'll be right up there for the next ten. And Musa's great to hang out with; I like that she's always chill and laid-back when hanging with us minions. As for Caitlin, she's done a great job as NOTW head. It's been my pleasure to serve under her.

@Karamazov; is a very mean person who teases me and calls me names. And he is also one of my best Bulbabros.

@Mako; is a dangerously sarcastic man and one of my oldest Bulba friends. Great guy. Maybe we can hang out sometime IRL.

@twinArmageddons; used peer pressure to make me read Homestuck. He is also one of the best leprechauns I know.

And of course, my belle @Kaori;. I'd say she's the greatest gift I could possibly get, but y'know what? Even I'm not that cheesy.

JoJo, meeting you is the absolute best thing that has happened to me this year. Being with you is more amazing than i could have ever dreamed, and it kills me a little that I can't spend Christmas with you. I hope that you can have a magnificent Christmas even without me there.

I figured she wouldn't be interested in a boring, plain old high schooler like me, but on Friday, in a series of events worthy of the most dramatic soap opera, it turned out that, uh, I was wrong. Kind of absolutely, completely wrong. Like, at a "wow, Jabber, how utterly incorrect can you be" level of wrong.

We decided to wait a few days and have time to think before talking about what had happened (as I have the timing of a guitarist hgh on amphetamines and confessed my feelings right before I had to leave for a campout), and so, today, we had that conversation.

To make a long story short, I am the luckiest person on the planet and Kaori and I are a couple. Still trying to wrap my head around that, really! I just know that, wow, I don't think I've felt this inordinately happy in a long, long time.
