Pirating

Disclaimer: rant ahead. If you don't like it then don't read it.
It bothers me that so many people are copying and taking things without any payment to the author(s). From applications to games, movies to anime, music to e-books, pirating is rampant.
Are people really this lazy or greedy to get their asses out and make money? A lot of potentially good sequels are cancelled because they were deemed to unprofitable. The devs need support too you know. And unlike you cheapskates out there, they're not making the stuff for fun. They're doing it to feed their families and to make a living.
Hell, I bet half of you people out there who watch subbed anime never paid a single cent to the developers. Walk to freakin' Blockbusters or buy it online for only a few bucks, people! Buy it and get other benefits too! What's wrong with paying? Money is for buying things and it's not just restricted to the basic essentials! Basement dwellers - get off your fat asses, find a job, get your own house, and get your own stuff - not pirating them.
People are always saying, "were do u donload it" about games and apps. A typical example: torrenting right now. Hope it's worth the waiting time!
I'm not saying I've never done this. I have. I have pirated copies of some legacy (pre 2000) software. I do feel guilty and do plan on searching for legit copies.
In a nutshell: why do people have to pirate? It's detrimental to the economy and really, it shows just how imperfect we are as humans.
