Yesterday I had an idea for how to get a day counter with digital number display to work, so I ended up sitting down and spending like 6 hours on the build. After a lot of experimentation and some debugging I got it to work. I have concluded that Minecraft is a programming language. Here is the first part of my build, the second is coming tonight.

I had so much fun with this that more redstone stuff is definitely to come. The next build that I want to work on is a coded lock, where you have to press buttons in a certain order to get a door to open. I also would like to have the code easily reprogrammable.
Karamazov and mariowie like this.

That is cool, I am not into minecraft but this looks really cool.
But I think you can compare it to matlab in programming, since that is visual programming but you can do a bit more.

Something like that, but I think it's a bit more abstract.
