Now what Region will Generation VII be!?

So now that we have America in Europe left it seems like the only ones left Australia, South America, Antarctica, and mainland Asia.

If they do China hopefully they'll base Pokemon of the Chinese Constellations which is something I want very badly but I won't see to much difference between it and other pokemon games.

But if we get any the other ones I expect a slightly more savage pokemon game with less cities or more Deserts, Plains, and Jungles based off the rain forests. Hoping for Australia mainly though since they have the most diverse landscape and freaking koalas, seriously grass type Koala's think about it.

I only see Antartica getting used in the distant future as a one stop island to get catch a Piplup. XD

Let's wait and see before we judge on whether Generation VI's region is just France or Europe as a whole.

Even if it is based off of Europe or Europe I doubt we will get a second visit.

France =/= Europe

So many people are assuming it does equal the same. As a member of the UK, I'm actually quite offended by generalizations like European country = Europe.

Still, what's with the 3DS France craze? Rhythm Thief, now this?

I...I never said we would see a second visit.

I said, let's what until we see whether or not the new generation's region is based on France or Europe. France is only one country in Europe, so it's possible that GameFreak might want to explore another European country in the future.

Kanto, Kansai, Kyushu and Hokkaido are all in Japan and had separate regions.

But France =\= Europe.
France is just one of many countries in the continent that is Europe.

If GameFreak want to explore other countries in Europe, which contain pasts and cultures far different to France in the future, then they will. The UK and France are very different places with very long histories both on terms of political and culture, as are France and Germany, Switzerland etc. That's what they're getting at.

@Polkadot Jolteon that is why I don't like discussing where Gen 6 will be based! I'm from the UK too, and people seem to think it will solely be based on France? Referring to Europe at the same time? I'm like... I'm half Cypriot, and Cyprus is also a part of European Union now... We have Beaches, mountains, rivers, waterfalls.... and it's way over 30 degrees in the Summer!
