I know I'm likely in the minority here, but are any other import players getting tired of the region locking that Nintendo has started to use? For those who don't know, you have to have a Japanese system in order to play the Japanese versions of Black and White on a DSi/3DS handheld. The original DS isn't affected by this. Additionally, no matter what, you can't do cross-region transfers with the Poke Transfer system, meaning my Japanese HGSS teams can't be sent to a US BW game card.

Also, is anyone else worried about this trend of region locking?

I'm awfully worried, yes. The real damage done by this pointless region-locking will definitely show itself starting from the 3DS games.

Its really dumb. I dont get why Nintendo cares so much, people importing just makes them more money anyway. It dosent matter to me, if I wanted to buy BW2 now, I could, as I have my DS Lite, I just dont feel like buying it.

Perhaps it's because Nintendo wants money fair and square from respective regions, and imported games are considered as cheating.

This is a very good possibility. However, as with any DRM, the only ones affected are the ones willing to pay for the games. It's kinda sad that Nintendo is beginning to fall in this regard.
