This team right here. It was doing so well for me on PO that I decided to build it up for Wi-Fi. You know, breeding for specific IVs and moves, EV training, the whole shebang. Naturally, there will be a couple of hurdles, like the whole "having to raise them to Lv.100" thing and the specific Hidden Power on Chandelure (though I'm thinking of making a request to an RNG'er for that one). But I still like building my teams like this. Makes it feel like a real accomplishment or something. But that's just me. XD

Anyway, I just completed one of the Pokes of my planned team: Bahkendov the Salamence. I bred several Bagon in my HeartGold looking for one with great IVs in Attack and Sp. Attack (31 in Speed was guaranteed, the way I had it set up). Once I got that, I sent it to Platinum to name it, have an IV battle with myself to see how good its stats were, and teach it Outrage. Then I Poke Transferred it to Black and trained it up from there.

Now it's a fully-trained, Lv.100 Salamence with the following stats:

It has a Naive nature, holds a Life Orb, and knows Draco Meteor, Outrage, Fire Blast, and Earthquake. I can't wait to tear things up with this monster!

I'm always hesitant to use mixed attackers, I don't like the idea of lowering one of my Pokemon's attacking stats so it can hit harder from the other. I need to use them more, really.

I usually like to focus on one attacking stat, too. I just thought I'd give mixed attacking a try with Salamence. There are very few Pokemon that can pull off mixed-attacking sets effectively. Salamence is definitely one of them. XD
