My business with the Devon corporation takes me to the sun-drenched beach of Slateport City! What awaits me there?
Oh, you are now up with a new Nuzlocke!
I am sorry I won't be able to watch it, not as much time now as back on summer!
But make sure to do great!
That I is, @Mega Bluestoise! In fact, this one has a harder ruleset than the Black 2 Nuzlocke! Check it out!
RULE #1: Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead and must be released (or boxed permanently).
RULE #2: You may only try to catch/obtain the first eligible Pokémon in an area.
- Dupes Clause: Any Pokémon of a species already "owned" can be skipped.
- Limit: First 5 encounters in an area
RULE #3: All successfully caught/obtained Pokémon must be nicknamed.
RULE #4: The Battle Style must be Set.
- This is to prevent switching for free upon defeating an opposing Pokémon, thereby ramping up the difficulty of battle.
RULE #5: You cannot use any items from your Bag in the middle of battle, save for all variations of Poké Balls.
- Items held by Pokémon may be used in battle.
- All items may be used outside of battle.
I hope you enjoy the show!
Wow, this one is much harder! With a lot of grinding, though, I am sure you can pull it off all right!
Trust me when i say there are several specific pokemon to watch out for.
White Herb Overheat on a sunny day team. No way to activate the white herb before Overheat is used. As if a 315 BP move wasn't terrifying enough in a nuzlocke.
Lack of healing really screws you over here.
Solarbeam screws your rock type over. Only real way to counter this thing is to teach your Gyarados Flamethrower.
@AnybodyAgrees In Ruby/Sapphire, Torkoal doesn't hold a White Herb and Winona just doesn't have a Tropius. I'll still have to think my way around that Torkoal, though.
Also, Norman has two Slaking to watch out for, but if I still have Leppa, I can get around at least one of them with Protect and Poison Sting. It could get some hilarious use out of a Leppa Berry. XD
Except that I'm doing this same challenge in Emerald and haven't played R/S before.
Currently, Lombre has fallen out of usage for me. It doesn't learn a single move better than Nature Power until you get surf, and by then high-level Marill appear in Petalburg City.
