On May 6 this year, I finally ventured into something I was long overdue to experience: the Pokémon Trading Card Game. This was possible because of the TCG Online program. Once I got into it, it proved to be very fun, and it became one of my regular time-kiilers.
Although it was fun, for the first week or so, I was a noob with very basic cards at my disposal, and even in "Easy" PvP matches, I kept getting smashed by pretty much everyone else with their overall better cards.
So I was Synchro-searching for a Modest Haunter (getting ready to build a powerful Mega Gengar) when, out of nowhere, @Shiny Shinx challenges me to a battle! I decided to accept even with my half-empty team, and this is what became of that.
But I had to postpone it because I was so hopelessly distracted by X and Y. In fact, I still kinda am.
Playing through X has been a total blast for me. Even though I had broken down and exposed myself to some spoilers beforehand, the game still had plenty of surprises left for me, which is one reason why I've been playing practically nonstop.
