I'll be very short with the ratings this time.

The winner of immunity is... @Karamazov 's haiku senryu! It's funny 'cause it's true. The elimination will go to... @AvarusCantus. I know what you were trying there, but you can't guilt me into not eliminating you. You actually did quite well on every challenge but the first, so your haiku isn't even true. Your consolation prize:

This owl species that makes its nest in cacti, because your name reminds me of cacti. Personally I think it's pretty cute.

Anyway, challenge 5! Tired of writing stuff yet? Well too bad. This challenge is gonna be a tricky one. Each of you is going to write a short story, like 4-8 lines/sentences (I don't care if its less or more). However here's the crux, when all of you have written your piece I'll be pasting all of them together in a random order, and will expect a smoothly running story. The plot will be as weird as can be, but it doesn't matter. You'll have to make sure your piece starts and ends in such a way a different piece can easily precede / follow up on it. The person who's piece screws up the flow of the story the most will be eliminated (so this depends more on semantics than it does on context).

To make this challenge even harder I'm gonna make the blog comments invisible, to make sure you can't adjust your story to someone else's. However, to cut you a little slack you'll have at least 48 hours to come up with a story.

You can post drafts here: no one is able to see them anyway and I won't judge untill everyone has send in their final story. Just make sure to mention that they're drafts. Good luck!

edit: Forgot to mention, every story will have to be in the first person singular (I), and in the past tense. This to ensure that the stories will match up when put together :3

Suddenly I found myself surrounded on all sides by bloodthirsty poisonous platypii. "How strange," I thought to myself, "This is completely different from what was happening just a second ago..."

I looked around, trying to find a way out of this mess. The platypii were closing in, when suddenly the ground shook, and a giant ground narwhal emerged from a hole. The settling dust cloud revealed a horrid scene of a pair of platypii skewered upon the narwhal's horn. The narwhal gave a low, loud war cry as the rest of the platypii forgot about me to engage their new foe. I made my escape. This day has been very odd so far.

    Daaaaamn. This is hard.

This is a work of fiction. All the characters in it, human and otherwise, are imaginary. Except only certain of the fairy folk, whom it might be unwise to offend by casting doubts on their existence. Or lack thereof.
'K, new one.
Certain things in the world appealed to me. Certain other things didn't. I considered my opinions about different issues. I believed there is a benign power somewhere that cared for me. I believed it's a chaotic world without any rhyme or reason.

How I'd perceived the world not only tells about the world, but it is also a reflection of how my mind works. I saw my own mind in how the world appears to me. I've come full circle.
I woke up some time after my previous venture, confused as to what had happened. Nevertheless, I got out of bed and padded into the kitchen to get myself a beer. To my surprise, the fridge was empty! I knew just what to do.

Mr. Barns was asleep like a log in his house. He had worked endlessly on his farm, and this was his break. To his annoyance, a loud noise outside woke him up. He reluctantly got out of bed and went to the window. Outside, in the cornfield, he saw very bright, erie lights. He quickly got dressed and walked out to the cornfield. He walked into the grass, and when he got close to the light, he was blinded. He heard an unearthy scream, a loud buzzing sound, and everything went black.

After blacking out due to previous events, I woke up in the middle of a cornfield at night. I had no idea where this cornfield was, as I had never seen it before in my life. I walked around, and suddenly, a really bright light appeared out of nowhere. The closer I got, the brighter it became. Eventually it became so bright that I was blinded. After I arrived at what I assumed was the source of the bright light, I heard an unearthly scream. I covered my ears, but the scream was deafining. I was struck by a hard object, and I blacked out.

    FINAL COPY:

On my trip to Kanto I managed to see all the Gyms and even the Pokemon Mansion. But the one thing that really surprised was I saw Pinkie Pie there. What was a pony doing in Kanto? Though with this being Kanto and Pinkie Pie we are talking about I suppose I should have guessed what I was going to see. I wonder what else I will see?

I stared at the living being in front of me, suddenly scared by what was found in their hand. An enormous watermelon could be seen, which had seemingly appeared out of nowhere. It was a regular fruit, really, except for the wire that was dropping on the side; clearly it was some kind of bomb. The living being, being a nasty creature, threw it at me the strongest it could, and I had no choice but to duck to avoid being hurt by its explosive force. "What the ever-flipping Miltank hell?!" I shouted as I angrily rose back up. The creature stared at me, standing still, not sure of how I would react.

After walking around for a while, a lagoon opened in front of me. It spread out vastly, a beautiful panoramic scene of azure blue and glistening golden sand. Running my bare feet into the warm sand, a young looking woman crawled up to me. The first odd thing I noticed about her wasn't that she crawled up to me, but that she had no legs and in their place was a shiny crimson fish tail. I had always wished I could experience something like this. Mermaids were beautiful, and to be in the presence of one was amazing. She looked up at me and winked. She whispered "Wake up..." and as her voice decayed away, I understood what was going on around me and I did just that, woke up. I felt sad that I would never know what would have happened next.

The phone rang, and I rushed to pick it up. A friend had called me, and I was so delighted. She told me there was going to be a school festival this Friday, and she asked me if I could participate.
"Of course, I'll go!" I said. "When should I join?"
After we discussed the plans of the festival, we proceeded to talk about the party next week.
Suddenly, I saw smoke creep around the walls. In my horror, I dropped the phone.
I forgot that I was in the middle of cooking.

...and so I was sitting on a bench eating the last piece of fruit I had left. That was when it finally stroke me. I had to be. He had to be the one that killed her. Who else could have been so evil to stab an old lady fifty times on her back? I laid down on the grass looking at the clear sky. I panicked. I knew he was coming for me and that he would find me. I ran.

There was a blinding flash of light. When my eyes had readjusted, I looked up and saw, towering over me, the Bear Mage. "YOU SHALL NOT PASS," roared the monstrous mammal, brandishing its wand-chainsaw. Knowing that there was no way I could defeat it, I turned tail and fled, fireballs flying past me. Suddenly, a battalion of raccoon cavaliers leaped out of the thicket I had just passed. I drew my magic staff, and hoped I could defeat the forest creatures before the Mage could catch me.
