Today my mom complains to me that her netbook was smelling funny. I looked at it, and nothing seemed wrong asthetically. But that smell was bad. [I]Burning[/I] bad. I removed the battery and smelled that. Bad. I smelled the area where the processor is. Ten times worse.

I think I'm going to just take one of my old computers, hook it up to the TV with a wireless mouse and keyboard, and have my mom use that.

If anyone wants to help, it's an Asus EeePC 1000HD. Got it late October ...
