I sent the first sample chapters of my novel off to agents today.
I should get a response between 2 and 6 weeks, depending on the agency that I've sent it to.
If any of them reply positively, they'll then try and find me a publisher.
If any of THEM reply positively, they'll publish me and I'll finally be making money from my writing! Happy days!

So, I started my time here in the Garden as a 'pedia user.
Now, when I was writing/editing articles, some times I would get this:
"Hey, that's not factual enough, save that crap for the discussion pages!"
Obediently, I would bring my business to the discussion pages. Sadly, there I would be greeted with this:
"Hey, that's not on-topic enough, save that crap for the forums!"
Once again, I did as I was told and found my way
Well, as you may or may not know, I've been working hard on getting published for quite some time now.
Anyway, I'm working on writing a synopsis for my novel now and I have to say it is hard work.
I know I'm not the only one on this site who is working on getting published around here. What kind of progress are other people making? Any advice for me on synopsis writing?
Anyway, I'm planning to start sending things off this week, so I'll let you all know
